Welcome to the Natural Bridge Zoological Park, home to the most complete collection of exotic animals and birds in the state of Virginia and breeding center for rare and endangered species.

Natural Bridge Zoo offers you more animal variety than ever. Our program for rare and endangered species allows you to see many animals that may not be available in any other facility. Many of the NBZ residents are bottle fed from birth which creates closer, more friendly encounters than you have ever experienced. On your visit, you will encounter a variety of exhibits and wide open regions that offer the maximum in up close experiences. 

Take A Walk On The Wild Side at the Natural Bridge Zoo for an excursion into the Extraordinary. You’re about to bond with some of the largest, the smallest, and the most amazing animals that are all located at the Wildest Place On Earth, The Natural Bridge Zoo. You’ll encounter a variety of exhibits and wide open regions that offer the maximum in up close encounters with friendly animals that are or once were bottle fed.

You will hit it off with so many animals that you’ll wear a baby camel kiss or giraffe slobber as a badge of honor. If you’re not into wet affection you can pet, hug, photograph, or gaze at many of the wonderful Natural Bridge Zoo’s residents.

Look at the World from a different view point. An elephant ride is an outstanding experience for the young and the young at heart. On this adventure ride you’re going to feel the gait of an elephant’s walk while appreciating a lofty perspective. Bring enough feed so that you can feel the mighty vacuum of an Elephant’s trunk as the feed disappears from your hand. We are one of the few zoological parks in the US to offer an African elephant ride with an opportunity for hands-on interaction.
